How The Letter gets made
Methodology
Aroko combines primary-source evidence discipline with a human-directed thesis process — AI-assisted research infrastructure, adversarial review, and public forecast tracking, all in service of one standing framework.
SOURCING DISCIPLINE
Evidence Infrastructure
Every keystone claim is checked against a primary source — RTO/ISO filings, FERC dockets, earnings transcripts, trade data — before it ships. Where a number is modeled or directional rather than measured, the piece says so explicitly, in the sentence, not a footnote.
PRE-PUBLICATION GATE
Adversarial Review Board
Before publication, drafts face a multi-persona review scored on logic, clarity, and authenticity. A piece that fails its gate goes back for revision — the review has blocked publication before, and that friction is kept, not smoothed over.
STANDING CANON
The Grid-Silicon Order
A standing framework, not a one-off thesis: named regimes, their binding chokepoints, and what would have to be true to move between them. Individual issues extend it or stress-test it — they do not get to silently revise it. Tension gets flagged, not resolved quietly.
FALSIFIABLE BY DESIGN
Tracked & Scored Forecasts
Every forecast ships with a claim, a horizon, and a kill condition — the specific event that would prove it wrong. All of them are public on the Watchlist page, resolved or not, whether or not the result is flattering.
Independence
Objective and Independent Research
Aroko does not accept sponsored research from vendors, hardware manufacturers, or utility developers. The Letter is written and published on its own editorial judgment. Research partnerships — built jointly with an organization's own data — are structured, disclosed, and never quietly folded into unrelated coverage.
